Good morning, Deb, The only thing you can do, to help soothe ulcers is to use salt water, I suffer with mouth ulcers all the time too.I hope you feel better soon my dear friend. take care. (HUGS).

If it has a head, it's not an ulcer..It may be an abcess. Is it next to a tooth?

ouch#! needle NO! if you do this you risk infection and damage maybe perminant.

use either bonjella, abseol gelor wet a ball of cotten wall, dab in salt and dab onto the ulcer, it will sting like hell but what its actually doing is sterilising it and bursting it at the same time. This is safe as it can then heal and not become infected.

Use warm salt water to soften it, and warm peroxide water alternate these solutions every few hours and this should help it burst.

If its a mouth ulcer will cure by it self in 8 to 10 days.Pain can relieved by anesthetic gells available over the counter.Drink lots of water. There is no treatment. If it doest heal in 10 days go to ur dentist.

Best cure........wet finger pour heap of salt on finger... pull lip back exposing ulcer....put salt straight onto ulcer...........HURTS LIKE HELL but after two or three applications at short intervals during the course of the day or evening,it will go...honestly.

So do be brave.

cold salt water you banana, not hot!
Thats the best remedy of all, kills the germs too.

try TCP as a gargle, but dont swallow,if it has'nt gone down after a couple days, you better get to the doctor
pricking it will only make it worse.

BONJELLER

Cold salt water. The best cure is stop them arriving, my partner started taking Zinc tablets as she had 1or 2 ulcers every other month, she gets about 2 a year now.

A mouth ulcer does not resemble anything that needs to be bursted, so if it's looking like that, you have not got an ulcer. Could you have an absess?
A mouth ulcer will take a ful 7 days to clear - once they're here there's no getting rid of them until they have run their course. If you get ulcers regularly try taking a course of Zinc tablets to build up some resistance.
