Would this be safe now or should i wait?!

Question: i had a tooth pulled out on Wed. Feb. 6th. 2008. the nurse told me and the pamphlet they gave me says avoid hot foods or drinks for the first 24 hours after. i've had warm food but nothing hot yet. today is my first day back into work. and i've always had coffee while i'm working. if i wanted to drink it fresh it would be hot of course. i was wondering would it be ok to try it? or should i wait longer? i've also thought about just warming it up. cause the pot is off and its cold now. but i wouldn't let it get too hot.

It's fine to drink or eat whatever you want now. It's been a few days. Dentists say that because hot foods/liquids can induce the bleeding. It has already stopped bleeding now so you are more then fine to have your coffee. Do still avoid eating on that side for a few more days though just to give your gums a little more time to heal.

don't take the risk

as long as you are not bleeding warm coffee shouldn't hurt

well yeah its already been longer then 24 hours i dont think you have any thing to worry about

Yes, have it not too hot. It
