Once tooth enamel erodes, is it gone permanently? Can it be replaced?
I was wondering because I like to use teeth whitening products but I don't want to damage my teeth.
Answers:
Whitening products, especially if prescribed by your dentist, will not erode your teeth unless you use them incorrectly. Even then most products are harmless. Once enamel is gone, it's gone.
