After braces will my teeth space out again?!

Question: i have gaps in between my front teeth so i wanted this fixed. when i went to the orthodontist they told me that my teeth were "dainty". they told me that if i did get braces they might space out again after they were removed. (amount depending on how strictly i wore my retainer) so my question is, is there anything that could keep them from spacing out again?

You may need to see an oral surgeon and speak to him about frenectomy, that is where they cut the frenum(muscle) between the two front teeth. That will close the gap in the front and with proper retainer wearing, it shouldn't open up again. Also, they can use a lingual retainer that is glued behind your teeth to hold everything together, this is a permanent retainer

Wear your retainer as much as possible because after you have braces theres a chance your teeth can space out afterwards but the retainer helps hold your teeth together.

wear your retainer alot

if u keep wearing ur retainers whatever time he recommends then ur teeth will straighten.
