Can porcelain veneers correct an open bite?!

Question:

Can porcelain veneers correct an open bite?

I am a 27 year old female with an open bite and small gap in between the front two. I work in a very public position and dont feel comfortable at my age with orthodontia which is the most common recommendation or orthognatic surgery. I just want to get porcealin veneers or even the newer "Lumineers". But aside from cosmetic value can veneers be used as a treatment plan for open bites?

Answers:

It depends how severe is your open bite.

If you are patient, the best treatment to correct your open bite is orthodontics. http://www.studiodentaire.com/en/treatme...

If you do go for veneers, put in mind that veneers have a life span, and they should be redone every 10 to 15 years. http://www.studiodentaire.com/en/treatme...
