What do braces feel like?
im getting braces june 21 at 8:50 am and i want to know what braces feel like in your mouth and does the color light pink and light blue sound good.
im so exsited to get braces!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhhhhh!!! Braces. Lol. I miss braces because my teeth would match my outfit. Blue and pink were definately my favorite. NEVER get green, glow in the dark or yellow because then your teeth look nasty and dirty. My other favorites were orange and red. But try all the colors, that part of braces is fun
Ok the first like 4 days are absolutely HORRIBLE. Make sure you have plenty of tylenol and don't expect to be eating normal food. Stick to fruit smoothies and very, very soft food. It will feel like a metal alien is clinging to your teeth and you'll just want to rip those braces off!!!!! But don't worry that feeling will eventually go away and you'll only have some minor discomfort after they tighten your braces.
Also make sure you always keep a toothbrush and floss with you. And a mirror. My first few days of having braces people were always telling me that I had stuff stuck in my teeth which was soooo embarrassing. So always take really good care of your teeth. And flossing is going to be a major pain but make sure and do it or your teeth will be really stained after your braces come off.
Over all braces aren't that bad and just look forward to what it feels like when your braces come off!!! Your teeth feel so amazingly smooth!!! Plus they will be straight! Good luck!
