THIS SHOULD GO BACK TO MORMAL WITHIN A FEW HOURS. IF IT DOESN'T CALL AND ASK YOUR DENTIST.

Whoa my friend, " A while since you brushed your teeth"? Are you saying that you seldom brush your teeth, or are you saying you had a dental procedure requiring the gums to be numbed and now sometime later your still feeling numb? If you had a dental procedure requiring numbing it sometimes takes awhile for the numbing solution to dissipate...On the other hand, if a nerve trunk was damaged by the numbing injection the numbness could last for day's and even weeks. If the nerve trunk was completely severed (not likely but could happen) the numbness could be permanent..Go back to your dental professional and get an examination.
