Rootcanal and crowns or Implants??? For three teeth in a row?!

Question: How much is each scenario? And is it worth it? If I get the root canals what if it doesnt work? And they have to pull it any ways please help! Thank you! I believe it is the eye tooth and then the two behind it. My insurance covers $3000.00 a year. Any advice will be helpful.

Ok, rule of thumb, don't extract your teeth if they can be saved by root canals and crowns. There are never guaratees that things won't eventually fail on you, but cost wise, you are still looking at big bucks to have implants. At least $2000 a piece, not including the crowns that go over the implant. The implant will just replace your natural tooth that you have now, save some money and do the root canals, they will be slightly less money and it is your own tooth. Especially an eye tooth, that is the strongest root in the whole mouth (more so that molars).
Do a formal treatment plan with your doc and make sure he/she takes care of the cavities first, in order to avoid more root canals in the future. If you are in pain in the teeth that you are speaking of, then have the root canals done to remove the pain.
And NO NO NO NO NO are full dentures the answer, if i had a dime for every time I saw someone cry over the wish that they were able to save their own teeth, I would be rich.
Hope this helps.... let me know if I can give you more info.

It is probably cheaper to get the root canals and crowns. Also some insurance companies do not cover implants.

Getting root canals done and retaining the existing teeth is a better option. faiilure rate of implants is much greater than root canals.i mean if u say what if root canal doesnt work, I say what if implant doesnnt work!
Dentures is a BBBBBBBBad option.

JHeezy is very right in her answer.

always save what teeth you can,
The only thing I want to add is that the cost depends on your dentist office and the lab they use.

also one more thing. If you do get Crowns put on, lease make sure to take care of them, by flossing under and around them daily, or it will be a waste of money and you will lose the tooth any way.
