I get my wisdom teeth pulled Friday June 22. Will it be okay to go back to work Monday?
They are impacted so they have to be cut out. I am getting put to sleep though.

Well I was FREAKED out when I found out at the age of 35 that I had to have mine removed. I had seen lots of friends with swollen faces and two weeks of pain. I had one impacted one and the rest were fine. I practically hyperventilated before the 'surgery' began, but it was very quick, and of course I didn't feel a thing. As soon as I was awake and alert my husband took me home and I was absolutely fine by the next day. However, have all of them impacted may be more difficult. I would plan on taking the following Monday and or Tuesday off just in case you need the time. That way you have it if you need it and don't feel obligated to go to work feeling uncomfortable and out of it. If you feel fine, then you can call them and tell them you will be in. Mostly, though many friends and family were quite swollen and took pain pills for a couple of days afterwards...I am sorry, I am not trying to scare you. Good Luck and everything will turn out just fine!!!!
