I am considering going to NYU Dentistry for dental.?!
Question: Has anyone ever used them. I need root canals and crowns on my front teeth. Are they less expensive, as far as crowns and root canals go. I called a dentist where I live and he charges $300 for root canals and $500 for crowns is this normal. Also how much are full porcelain crowns i live brooklyn, ny

Hm, yes, NYU Dental is usually much cheaper than a "regular" dentist. However the prices you are telling me are VERY cheap. I work in the Bronx in quite a few offices and our Root Canals are $800 while our Porcelain crowns are $975! I would make sure that dentist that quoted you cheap prices is in a nice, clean office, and then you can double check with NYU to see how much they would charge. While the dentistry done at NYU is going to be very good, (they are checked a million times by a million different dentists) it is going to take you much longer than it would take at a regular dentist.
