Can I get the numbing from getting a crown to go away sooner?!

Question: I got a crown put in today and the dentist numbed my mouth. It's been a couple hours and I'm looking for a way to get the numbness to go away quicker. Any suggestions?

Take a nap or exercise. The increased blood flow may make the numbness subside faster.

There is no other way than to wait it out. Not to worry it probably won't last but a few hours anyway.

You will be fine

Gently rub the side of your mouth that they numbed. It helps the numbness subside.
