Do braces hurt?
im getting braces in 14 days and i would like to know if they hurt and what should i eat also what color should i get?
please help!!!

You're teeth will be sore, but not too bad. After each trip to the orthodontist you might not be able to chew for a few days, but that's about as bad as it's been for me and I've had them for a year. Also be sure to get some wax to put on troublesome spots, they'll rub against your mouth sometimes and you'll notice some slight marks wear they're rubbing against but if you wear wax that'll go away in a few days.
as for what to eat . . . well, you'll be able to eat loads of what you do now. just don't eat anything to hard, or to sticky. (though I'm sure your orthodontist will explain all that). I also suggest against things like sesame seed buns. It's a nightmare to clean your braces after them.
I can tell you what colors NOT to get, and those are green and yellow. XD
