Haha, this makes me laugh Only because I have the perfect answer. I use to get hard bristle brushes and I brushed really hard to get my teeth white, Turns out that my dentist said that is terrible to do. Since I was destroying my gums and exposing my teeth's roots which happen to be yellow like everyones. So dont brush hard first off. Second off. I just got a job with Oral-B and had to research the company and there products and there battery operated tooth brushes are actually back by 60 clinical studies which prove they are the best toothbrushes and remove the most plague. So get one of those and brush very lightly the tooth brush will do the rest.

ALWAYS... soft brush... and visit us every 6 months.. some apples won't hurt either

I would recommend an electric toothbrush. Try Sonicare or Oral B. They have soft bristles and are very effective. (Also, my wife, a dental hygienist, says that flossing reduces inflammation which helps the gums to not be as sensitive.)

You should be using a soft toothbrush and tee pee brushes for getting into the braces. Have a professional clean every 6 months also has braces attracted plague.

Soft is not good, period.

The right thing to do is having a medium or hard toothbrush but you have to brush GENTLY but really accurately and not less than 3 minutes. Plus- if you don't know how to brush teeth properly- get an appoitment to the dental hygienist which will show you how to do it, because just "brushing teeth" will do nothing.

Brands I like and can really suggest is Jordan and Oral-B. Nothing even comes close. I usually pick out hard ones and do as I explained. It feels soft and brushes cool as you said, if you do it right.
I like electric ones too, especially Oral-B. But I feel like I can brush better manually.
cheers

oh you said you have braces..... aren't there some special toothbrushes for that??
