Do Braces Hurt?
i am getting braces soon and even my friends can't convince me that they don't hurt i am getting them really soon and i am really scared. HELP!!!

Dont be scared dear ... For me the spacers hurt alot which you will get in about a few days time ... dont worry though coz most of the people dont experience pain for that .. I had pain coz mine were kept in the mouth for a bit longer than the 2or 3 days that they r usually kept for because of which they had fallen in b/w my teeth and had started causing pain..I couldnt wait to get them off ... Till the braces time u get a bit adjusted to that lil pain... Dont go for painkillers .. Try to adjust to the pain ... Until it becomes really unbearable ...
With braces when they r newly fitted u have pain for about 2 or 3 days which dissapears .. Later on u have pain for a day on each appointment .. Dont worry .. b chill I'm still on my braces and doesnt hurt tht much ..Just the beginning is a bit irritating .. Then it gets better .. when u get new braces make sure u just eat soft food otherwise it will hurt .. With me I didnt care I just had my beef burgers and everythin hard even with the pain ... So chill .. Dont worry ... I didnt use a painkiller till yet for braces.. In the beginning the new braces will feel a bit awkward but dont worry ... there are new colours available for the bands and they actually look cute on girls :P .. best of luck .. chillz
