Question...?!

Question:

Question...?

i have braces now and i think i get them off in a few monthes. I have a TINY space at the bottom of my front teeth. Braces cant close it because my teeth can't like "make it fit." if that makes sense...so when i get my braces off i want to get that little space bonded.

how long after do i need to wait? And same for bleaching?

Answers:

Once your braces are off schedule yourself for a cleaning, exam and any cavity checking x-rays you might need. The whitening should come after the cleaning since you will not have buildup (tartar, plaque, stain) in the way. You also want the gums to have a chance to get healthy if they are swollen at all now. Once the whitening is done and your teeth have had a chance to get accustomed to the retainers then have them bonded. You want the bonding after the whitening so the bonding will be the right shade. Bonding won't change color when you whiten. Good luck!
