i am going to be honest with you. when you first get your braces on, they are very uncomfortable. it feels like there is a lot of pressure on your teeth and for the first three days or so, it is hard to eat anything crunchy. the pain is bearable and it is very helpful to take a pain reliever before and after you get your braces on. after the first three days or so, the pain completely goes away and then your teeth will only be sore after you get your wire tightened and that pain usually only lasts a day or so.
