I'm getting braces this month. What can I expect?!

I'm getting braces this month. What can I expect?

Besides the fact that I'll have a high self esteem when the braces come off, what can I expect when they are put on?


Answers:

Tenderness, NOT huge screaming amounts of pain. Get yourself some painkillers, eat soft foods (or at least foods that require little or no chewing) and you will be fine. It lasted 5 days for me. After those 5 days, I was totally fine, eating normally.
