How do i get my teeth whiter?

i have 3 months until school starts back again, and i would like my teeth to be whiter. The color they are now is not what you call a pretty smile. I have bad habits of drinking sodas and eating sweets. Can you people give me some tips on how to get my teeth whiter? thanks
