White stuff by where my widom tooth was pulled??? help! i'm freaking out!!?!
Question: i went and got ONE widom tooth removed monday, and it does'nt really hurt except for in the mornings and afternoons. But i just looked in the mirror to see how much it has healed and it's healed quite a bit, but right behind my last stitch there is a white spot...it kinda looks like a scab. Beacause when i got my tonsils removed it looked just like that. is the white thing part of the healing process? And if not what should i do? Also, i smoke but everytime i do, i put gauze over the spot to make sure smoke or whatever does'nt get in there...but i'm not going to smoke anymore!!! Also, can i gargle with warm salty water to help ease the pain?? please help!!!

call the dentist and ask him, let him know you smoke. I would stop until it's completely healed
