Dry Socket?!

Dry Socket?

I had all four wisdom teeth taken out last friday. My teeth are evry soar and i still cant open my mouth or eat many foods. Only one tooth hurts and I think it may have a dry socket. So far not even the medicine will cure the pain and its like a throb. Im not in tears or anything and its not effecting my slepp. Is it a dry socket? How can I help it if it is and how can i ease the pain?

The doctor gave me antibotics to keep out infection and i have been taking those as told. Could it really be an infection? The side that hurts was swollen more than the other also

Chances are it is, especially if it's only one tooth. When I had mine out, they were better after a week....the bottom took longer to heal than the top. Go to the doc and get it checked - if it is dry socket it takes two seconds to make it feel better, and they'll put you on antibiotics.
