Braces... Please give me all the details!?!
Question: I need braces. I hate how crooked my teeth are and I have decided to get them. I'm 15 by the way and don't want to wait till I'm older to get them...How horrible are they? How much does it hurt? How horrible is the getting them on process? Is it worth it? I would really appriciate your answers!

They really arent bad!!
I think I look preetier espicially because my teeth are looking better and i only had them for a month (tops) and got bottoms thursday! the bottoms hurt worse than the tops for me but it wasnt bad but i wanted to just sleep so i did. Its uncomfortable though. Tops pain (1-10;10 being the worst) 3
Bottoms pain: 4-5. The process isnt bad at all espicially when you have entertainable orthodontist and assistants! lol! Although I have only had them for over a month (dec. 27 tops) I see improvement and believe they are definetly worth it. I also see people who got theirs off!
Well ive had braces for 2 years and got them off 3 months ago. Braces don't really hurt, your teeth kind of ache for the first 3 days of wearing them. It doesnt really hurt to get them on except it kind of hurts your lips and i would say they are worth it. I have gotten compliments on my teeth and they are much prettier now. Good Luck!

i had braces for 5yrs...at first it hurts for like the first day and after that it feels weird...the worst part is your can't eat sticky stuff and have to chew sugar free gum....it sucks but you get used to it.....when you get them on...i promise it won't tickle...but it will feel awkward...and soar for a little while.....good luck and best wishes...**it's worth it**
