It will make you feel kind of spacey They will adjust the amount that you are getting from pretty low to as high as you say is o.k. It makes me sick if I have it up very high...it will you, especially 'cause this is the first time. They will be numbing your mouth also...nitrous does not take away the pain..it just helps calm down the anxiety. not to worry ... you'll be fine. Just tell your dentist about your concerns with the nitrous... Saturday morning you can get up andpay video games..just like usual! p.s. he should sen you home with some pain medication...remember to ASK him about this ..in case he forgets... go for it! ?

not so much sick as just kinda out of it

you'll feel like you've never felt better in years ;-), naww shouldn't make ya sick. be careful what ya say though, tends to make ya loose lipped. lol

you just get kind of relaxed and giggly with nitrous oxide gas. Please make SURE that the doctor does NOT give you any Versed!!! Alot of dentists use this thru an IV and this is one evil drug that should have been banned from using it on humans years ago!! I had it in 1991 and I've never been the same since, it's use resulted in severe anxiety and depression. The drug does nothing for pain, just gives you amnesia so you forget the procedure...they use it for alot of different medical procedures too....beware if someone ever says to you "Don't worry, you won't remember a thing," get up and RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!

You'll feel really weird and just think random thoughts.

You'll be really like off when you have it.

Your barely going to notice that they're working on you because your probably going to notice how large your fingernails are.
