Nope. This is not too long at all, hence the sedentary filling. You eat normal foods, as you normally would, there's no need to baby it if there's a sedentary filling in place--that's what it's there for. I actually had a sedentary once hang on for almost a year, but that's a whole different story. Now, if you think it's too long to wait, call your dentist and ask to be put on a waiting list for an earlier appointment, just don't hold your breath.

thats wat straws are for =D

just dont eat with that part of the mouth

don't chew on that side, and no that's a typical wait time for that

no, wait

3 weeks is a little too long, but it's just to give your tooth time to heal. As for eatting, don't eat anything that is hard, so candy is a NO. Also try not to eat chips!!!

Liquify everything, I recommend buying a vitamix, it can make anything into a liquid assuming it has juice. Like a hamburger, makes it into a shake. All you do is drink it and voila!

3 weeks is not too long at all. A temp filling can last months. You can eat normal foods just be careful not to bite down too hard on that tooth. It is best to chew everything on the opposite side until the permanent crown is seated.
