well for me they hurt the next day. I could barley open my mout. What you should do is take a pain killer before you get them on becuase it takes them a little while to work. THen keep on taking them throuhgt the next day. By the end of the second day, my teeth were just a bit sore
Although they hurt me, i know some people who said tht it didnt hurt at all

I dont mean to scare you but they do hurt somewhat. The part that hurts the most is when they have to size them and then tap them on. Other than that it doesnt really, the only thing that really bothered me was the taste of cement.
Of course there's the wires that sometimes poke you in the side of your mouth which is painful. You can also have general mouth pain as your teeth shift. But when they take them off, you might just forget all about that.
It only hurts for about a week when you first get them on, but then you won't even notice them, and it hurts for about a day when you get them tightened..but it is stil isn't as bad like when you first get them on.
Yes. Alot. Sorry, but they do but don't worry the pain will ware off. But each time you get them tightened they'll hurt again. I know it stinks. =[
When you get ur braces on the they dont hurt that much, but ur teeth feel rily rily soft. u definitly should not eat any thing hard. When you get to ur 2nd day it sucks. it hurts so much. i have never been in so much pain. again do not eat anything hard. u should take either tylenol, advil, aleve, or motrin. any pain reliever. On ur 3rd day it still hurts but not as ******* bad as the first. by the way color on ur brackets which are actually just rubber bands are FREE. PS when u get them tightened u ar almost in as much pain as the 1st day. peace im out i luv bj's. they wont even let me say ****. well **** them up the ***
well i don't know about what the others said but when i had them they didn't hurt a bit. it was a bit of a headache at first but then it was okay. don't think about it much! anyway, wish you a happy valentine's day!
