I need braces. Where do I start this whole process?!

Question: Well, to get the process started ask a few of your friends where they had braces. The next step would be to call that orthodontist and ask if they do a free consultation. They just start by looking at your teeth and suggesting a treatment (such as how many teeth to pull, an estimated numbers of years to correct the alignment, etc.). Then if you are definitely ready to get them on then if you do have insurance consult the company to see if any of the portion of braces would be covered, if not see if the orthodontist will have a payment plan, as many do. You definitely won't regret it, I'm wearing mine now and I am 22, never too late or too early!

p.s. You'll probably want to get a good dental checkup and cleaning as well...will just help with overall health of the teeth and gums.

If you have a dentist, ask who they recommend that is good in your area. If not, check around with people you know who have had braces and see who is good and set up a consult appointment so they can look at you and explain everthing that might be needed and give you an idea of what you are getting into.

go to the dentist

uh dur go to the dentist and say i need braces u retard

First thing you do is that you must need to see your dentist or orthodentist if he really commends you to need one.

Well you should find the nearest orthodontist, you can ask your regular dentist, if you don't know where they're located. then call and mak an appointment for a consult. they'll decide if they can help you, and if they can, they'll for sure schedule you for more appointments.
