Do dentists use dynamite to extract teeth?!

Question:

Do dentists use dynamite to extract teeth?

I'm a bit worried.

I've just been to the village dentist. He's actually also the village doctor but on tuesdays he calls himself a dentist and---believe me---you learn pretty quick not to call him "doctor" on tuesdays: he flies into an apoplectic rage if you do.

Anyway, he says I have a tooth that needs to be taken out and that he'll do it next week using a small amount of dynamite left over from "the moles" in his garden.

When I asked if using dynamite was normal, he assured me that this was standard medical practice before physically and rudely ejecting me from his office.

I found through experience it's best to check with our doctor. He's made lots of mistakes.

And you MUST go to appointments... my friend Jethro refused to let the doc put his--apparently--100% functional arm in plaster: he doesn't trust the doc after he prescribed him 2 tablespoons of raw sea salt every 40 mins for athletes foot. The doc went round to his house and really did break the arm in six places.
