Dentures - yes or no?????????
Hi, I have been told I need dentures within the next 12 months as, due to a genetic disorder, my teeth are loose and gums are receding. I go to the hygenist so they can keep an eye on them but I 'm at a point where I'm wondering whether to just go and get them pulled now? They look awful, gapping and I'm really self consious of them. As I'm only 33, it's a hard dicision to make and I don't know what to expect. Has anyone out there been in the same situation and what did you do? By the way, I've been told I can't have implants as I have lost too much bone density

At your condition veneers would not be an option. Sounds like your are destined for dentures. However, I would get a second opinion about imlants. Bone grafts are possible to make someone a more likely implant candidate. They are expensive but just two implants can make dentures so much more comfortable.
