I had my braces off a week ago after having them on for 18 months, my tooth that was out of line before has gone out of line again already! is this normal???

i went back to my dentist yesterday and had plastic clip in retainers.... painful things!

yes, it is normal for your teeth to shift - that's why it is important to wear your retainer.
there are people who have to have treatment several times.

but honestly that's better than what could happen had you not done anything.

lots of forces are at work.
