i chiped one of my back molars a few years ago the whare the tooth broke i have a cavity its like a small hole and it kinda hurts whoudl my dentist be able to fill it even tho its right on the side of my tooth and near the gum

yes they will. I am about to have a root canal on my number 2 tooth which is the last molar in the top right of my mouth. My tooth fell apart one day when I was eating and I didnt even know I had a problem until then. Get it fixed now while you can. You may just need to have the cavity removed and a filling put in. If you wait the mild pain will turn into a pain that you will never forget. My dentist put me on an antibiotic and lorcet 10/650 mg. Thats how bad I was hurting. So unless you enjoy extreme pain and discomfort, go to the dentist and get it fixed now. If you have insurance, you will have to pay a copay. If not, there are other options. They vary depending on the dentist you choose. Good Luck.
