Question: I'm constantly traveling, causing me to get attached to whatever items I travel with. So every time It comes to replacing my toothbrush, I feel bad for throwing the old one out.

Well, this is probably some kind of obsessive behaivor that you may need to go to a phycitrist for. But, I mean, what ever! Hey! You travel alot and your toothbrush is your best friend, I don't see anything wrong with that!

I carry a battery operated toothbrush with me, when I travel. As time goes on, I replace the brush end of it (and on occasion, the batteries). They are so easy to purchase and inexpensive that I pick up an extra now and then at the store.
absolutely not. from the moment i get a new brush i start awaiting the next. i'm a girl, new things are better. :P
