Do you brush after bleaching w/ trays?!

Question:

Do you brush after bleaching w/ trays?

I recently got my teeth bleached and got a home kit to keep it going for a couple of weeks.

I was wondering though, when I take the trays off, do I just gargle water to get everything out, or is it better to brush the teeth?

Also, is it normal to have small white burns on the gums right next to some teeth where the concentration might've slipped out of the tray and into the gum? I had one after the office bleaching but it was gone by the time I got home.

Answers:

Yes, you will probably want to gently brush your teeth afterward to get the bleaching off. I wouldn't use toothpaste though b/c it could be a little too much aftter bleaching b/c your teeth are usually sensitive. Yes if the bleach leaks it can make small white areas or if it stays there longer it can make burns.
