I had 4 teeth out a few weeks ago because i need braces.

Mine started falling out about 7 days after the operation.
The last one fell out about 2 weeks later.

Try tugging on them with your tongue. Are they loose or looser then they were before?

Also when they are dangling in your mouth because they are about to fall out try eating something and it should fall out with it. They are digestable. Trust me.

I eventually pulled my last few out though!

it depends on what kind they are, but they ussually take about 2-4 weeks. I've had them before and it took them about 3 and a half weeks to dissolve.

I would've thought they would have disolved by now as normal stitches are generally taken out after 7-10days. Ring the dentist up on Monday and ask their advise.

There are different kinds, but most use 7-10 day stitches. I would call the dentist monday and ask.

There are 2 types of dissolving sutures:
1. Standard catgut - these take about 2 weeks to loosen and fall out.
2,. Chromic catgut or similar - will take 3-4 weeks to fall out.
Why the dentist uses one type over another can be for various reasons - I find that the standard type is more difficult to see when I'm putting them in and sometimes they loosen up sooner than I'd like. The chromic type are easier to use and easier to see.
Nevertheless, after 2 weeks, you should be healing satisfactorily. If they are annoying you, contact the dentist and he/she may arrange to remove them for you.
