When I went to the dentist, I asked what was the most efficient way to whiten my teeth, and they told me Crest Strips were pretty good. So I used them, and get compliments on how white my teeth are. Although it does make your teeth sensitive, you really can use them as much as you want, it's not harmful.
I like the Crest dissolving ones the best - easy to use. But whatever you do, don't use ANY whitening product more than twice a week. They will cause you to have very sensitive teeth and gums; I found out the hard why by using everyday! As soon as I stopped, it went away
The best type of whitening is the bleach trays made by a dental office. The bleach is stronger. However, any of the otc ones work. You can use them everyday. If you are sensitive to the bleach then brush with Sensodyne toothpaste before and after bleaching.
I've only tried Crest Strips. NOT the dissolving ones. I don't really think those are good for your teeth.
They did hurt my teeth and gums on occasion, but they noticeably whitened my teeth after only a few days. And they're supposed to keep your teeth whitened for 12 months... for just $20. So I think it was a good deal.
