Had a temporary crown put on a tooth after a root canal, and now I have a metall!

Question:

Had a temporary crown put on a tooth after a root canal, and now I have a metallic taste in my mouth. Why?

Answers:

You're probably just tasting the stuff they make the temporary crown with. I recently had a root canal done, too, and they put in a temporary crown as well and I had a nasty taste in my mouth as well from time to time. It'll eventually go away and you won't have that nasty taste once they put the real crown in.
