Help!!!!(Cavity)?!
Question: I've been putting of my tooth pain for a few months now not knowing what the problem was. I've never had a cavity so i didn't know(i am 20). I plan on going to the dentist real soon, but how far has the cavity infected the tooth! I checked the mirror and the tooth has like a few grayish lines! How bad is it. I would imagine that black is the worst color. I'm so worried! Can it be saved!?

Get to the dentist as soon as possible. Most likely the tooth can be saved. Wheather you have root canal treatment or a simple filling.
The closer the decay is to the nerve of your tooth the more pain you will be in. This can also lead to an infection!
Decay can be many different shades. Yellow, black, brown, orange....
You said that the tooth has black lines....it may also be possible that your tooth is cracked and decaying. That is the worst case senario.
Please make an appointment as soon as possible. All of your worries will end once you sit in the dental chair! :)

I had something like that recently and when it stopped bothering me I figured I was ok, when I went to the dentist he said I just needed the cavity fixed, he filled it and it ended up being absessed and my entire face swelled up, of course it was a 3 day holiday weekend and I had to wait until he came back and it turned into a massive problem. So don't wait much longer!!
