i had braces for two years and they made such a difference. they are so worth it. when they come off you'll get a retainer that you'll have to wear during the day or night or both (depending) and even though they're gross you should seriously wear them coz your teeth will move. i forgot to wear them for two nights and when i next put them in they were so tight. after a certain amount of time you may get a fixed retainer which is a little wire that's put behind your teeth, no one can see them and you cant feel them. they stay there for years though i have one and they are fine.

you might have to wear them for a while, because braces do make a bigg difference in a smile. im guessing about 3 years for you? i had a friend who had them for about 3 or 4 years and her teeth look much better, but not perfect.

If you just got them they will not show much change right away. Each adjustment only moves the teeth a few centimeters at a time other wise it would hurt unbelievably. I think I noticed a change in how my teeth looked about 3 months after I got them. If you only have to wear them for 14 months you are lucky I had to wear them for 4 years.

i had to wear my brace (train-tracks) for a year and a half- you start to notice lots of differnce by 9 months. every time you visit the dentist they tighten it.
the remaining 6 months i had to wear a plastic retainer during the night time - that made sure the teeth stayed in place and didnt revert to how they were!

dont give up on your braces - you'd be amazed by the end at the difference!

This depends - have you got traintracks or a removable brace?
and what is the brace meant to be doing?
i've had a removable brace in for over two years, and it's just widening my top palette ready for my fixed brace, not making them any straighter.
But, after a week, you're not going to notice aaaannything
give it time, be patient, and you'll have straight teeth soon
plus, you yourelf doesn't usually notice it as much as other people as you see your teeth everyday and so won't notice gradual changes as much.

Don't worry, progress will show in the weeks and months to come.

Hell yeah! I had 3 different types of braces for 3/4 years and now people always compliment me on my lovely straight teeth. I used to dread it and think it's not going to work, it just causes me pain but i admit I was wrong and I'm so glad I had them.

This well,

the braces are probably fitted in da wrong position or maybe ur fiddling with them so much they dont have a chance 2 improve ur teeth.u should leave them be, wait another 2 -3 months and then visit ur optician

yes braces do work
