I just got my braces put on 3 days ago, when will the pain go away? and when will my gums start feeling better because they are so soar and they are getting littel red bumps due to all the rubing on my gums, and when do you think i can eat solid food again??? Thanks sooo much the more detail the better!

This is all normal, no need to freak out. The pain will continue for quite some time. Just take regular painkillers like Ibuprofen or Tylenol for the pain and next time you're at the orthodontist (or you could even go without an appointment) and ask him to give you some wax. You can put the wax over the parts of your braces that are irritating your gums. You'll be able to eat solids again soon, I'd say in a week or less.
