Has the dentist ever lowered you back too far in the dentist chair?!

it happens to me all the time....i hate it...i like strain my neck while im looking at the ceiling!

You are being tipped back so the Dentist can work in his most comfortable position. Wouldn't you want the Dentist to be able to do his work on your teeth the way it is best for him, or to compromise himself and you by making you more comfortable. Deal with it. I'd rather be uncomfortable for a little while than to have a "bad" filling because I didn't want to be tipped back.

YES! Omg I thought it only happened to me! I feel as if I'm going to slide off the chair!

wow, its not just me who feels that way too, lol when he puts me back its almost as if the head of the chair is touching the floor, when i get up my shirt is all riden down my back and stretched out and it does feel like i will fall out, lol

Ask the DR to raise you up that it bothers you!! He is just trying to see without using a mirrow. I f he won't or cant find another DR. I worked 32 yrs & never did this. I had a dentist do this to me to & I never went back, cause it caused my back to hurt bad!! DMD here
