I am a single mom and have no insurance b/c i cant afford it, but I went to a baylor clinic where the students pratice and they want 1400 dollars !!!! I just need something with a payment plan, or if you know someone that might happen to have a kind heart that does charity work for those that TRULEY need it.

Answers:

If you have/had an address in Arlington, you can go to the Mission in Arlington. The "old" (about three years ago) rate was $20 per visit, regardless of the required treatment. I would suggest you call them anyway, some of the doctors are willing to help out those in need even beyond volunteering their hours there.

You could also visit South Texas Dental. I used to worjk there. They offer discounted rates on dental care. There are several locations throughout Dallas. They stay pretty busy, that's the only downside. If you'd like, you can e-mail me more information and I can make a phone call to help you get the ball rolling.

They received some bad press awhile ago, but it is not a bad place to visit, otherwise the offices would have been closed. I can also give you the background info on that.

There is a group of dentists that do charity work, but due to overwhelming need, it is very difficult to get on the list. You have to have extreme need and be wlling to be used as a case study, in some treatments.

As I said, I'd be more than willing to help you out. Don't despair, there is help available to you.
