Flossing teeth?!

Question:

Flossing teeth?

Whenever i floss my teeth, my gums always hurt afterwards.. why is this? What can i do to stop this?

Answers:

If you haven't flossed in a while or ever, your gums will be sore when you first start, very normal. If you keep at it daily, the pain will subside. Using a waxed, easy slide floss helps too. It won't cut your gums. Crest Glide or Oral B Satin does a good job with that and also in tight spaces. Good luck!
