Teeth implants?!?!?!
Question: has anybody had them?
if so could you please let me know what to expect?
as i am getting my two front teeth replaced with implants because i was in an accident and my front teeth were badly damaged.
could you just let me know the what happens, how does it feel etc.

I've got one. They will put you to sleep for the proceedure(s).
Sometimes they do a bone graft first and let that heal a few months before the implant. When they put the implant in they will put a metal button on it and let it heal a few months before you are ready for the crown. In the meanwhile, you will wear a "flipper" or cosmetic denture to cover the space. You will have to remove that to eat.
Once the crowns are in, you won't notice any difference from real teeth. You will forget they are there. If you smoke or have poor dental hygene they can become infected and have to be removed.
