Black for braces.?!
Question: is black a good color for braces??
i know brown and yellow are bad.
white is good, only if you're a very avid brusher and you already have really white teeth.
but what about black??
i like the color light blue, and pink, and aqua, and teal, and all that stuff everyone says looks so pretty on braces but i think GRAY/SILVER or BLACK.
what do you think about those?

Black looks....ok. It kind of makes your teeth look dirty of cavity filled froma distance. But screw what other people think! If you want black, GET IT! I like it! Silver looks nice as well! Very classy. Have fun and explore color! I am getting the type of braces that dont use colored bands to tie up the archwire. Plain silver for me! As I said, classy!

um black is bad my "friend" had that color once and it looked so bad!!
i like the color black a lot but i would probably get more bright and fun colors. like right now i have bright green power chains on my braces =]
Errr.. uhh. Not a great colour because when you smile it'll seem like you are depressed, emo, or it'll just look bad with black stuff on top of your teeth. Try pink and blue or white or clear and red.
Green isn't a great color either because it looks like you might have gunk in your teeth, unless you get the bright or neon green. Orange is the same. Don't get brown!
I personally prefer Clear bands. But black is good. Black and pink is punk! :P Well, as far as "punk" can get with braces.

I had braces for 3 1/2 years and i can tell you that black is a bad choice. Silver or gray would be good but black can make your teeth look extremely yellow if they are even the slightest bit off-white. Blue, silver and gray are your best choices.
Clear looks the best hands down.
I usually get silver/grey across brackets because it blends in much better. I like the neon colored ones for the other kind of bands. I tried black once (matches my slimming outfits) it looked pretty bad. If its a short amount of time between one appointment and the next, I'd go for the neon ones at least once.
