just take a deep breath & remember that they are professionals they KNOW what they are doing or they couldnt be a dentist.

just don't think about the procedure think about it as just another cleaning.

take some deep breaths and remember that it will soon be in the past.

don't worry.. everyone gets nervous. maybe they can numb up your mouth or give you laughing gas. Ask your dentist!

drink orange juice and watch t.v it will be fine its nothing majour:)

Ask for the laughing gas.
It will calm you down.

Remember, your mouth will be frozen, so you won't feel a thing.
There's no need to worry.

just think that once you are there i won't take long during just take deep breaths and it will be over before you know it don't worry i have to get braces this month.

just cool down...he will first put a numbing thing near ur teeth and then give u a shot..u will not even feel the needle!
the shot numbs u more and everything will be fine!
stay cool!

I would be nervous too cause it might be an emergency if he is doing it on a Sunday. Good luck. I know it is not fun.

I had dental work done recently (root canal) and it was not that painful... just Think positive. You will feel pressure but no pain; if done properly. GOOD LUCK

listen to classical music and when you go 2 the dentist bring yur ipod

I had a root canal done. It is not fun at all. You will live through it though so be brave and ask for some gas. God bless you.

when i got it done, i just thought about something that was funny. I got braces and i was verry nerves, but now i am fine.

If they have nitrous oxide, ask for it, it'll calm you down a lot.

Look, I've had at least 8 root canals, so I'm an expert. None of them have been traumatic. They numb you up so you can't feel a thing. The only pain is the spot where the novocaine was injected. It's a little sore the next day, just like all shots are.
