Crest teeth whitening strips?
today has been my first time to use the crest classic whitening strips and my bottom row is killlllllllling me. it hurts right now so bad....do i need to discontinue use or is this just a side effect? is it even worth it?

Be sure not to brush your teeth for at least 4 hours before applying the strip. Sometimes gum sensitivity makes it to where you end up with this problem. Do not brush your teeth immediately after taking the strip out either. It gently bleaches the outer surface of your teeth but sometimes if you have weak spots in the enamel you'll experience a little pain. What I did was only used the strips once a day instead of twice a day--even though it took longer for results. Otherwise I would have gotten ulcers in my mouth. Be sure NOT to use mouthwash like Listerine--or even the alcohol free kind. Your mouth is going to be dry as long as you're using them and mouthwash will only irritate it more. It is worth the results ONLY if you can get them by minimal pain following the above. If not then stop altogether. For now I would use some oral pain reliever to help with the pain and wait a few days.
