Occlusal splint /night guard question?
I've been wearing a night guard for some months now, and I'm a bit scared now because sometimes I can feel as if I could move my front teeth when I push them with my tounge (even though I can't move them with my fingers). My dentist won't really answer my questions, so if there are any dentists out there or someone who's been wearing a splint, PLEASE answer:
Can the splint have any side effects (like hurting or dislocating teeth)?
Does it really pay to wear it?
How can I best take care of the splint (hygene)?
