Should I get my wisdom teeth removed even if they are not braking out or botheri!
Question:
Should I get my wisdom teeth removed even if they are not braking out or bothering me?
I went to the dentist and they found out that I have two wisdom teeth (lower jaw) in an angle. I'm 20 and none of them have broken out yet, but the dentist insists in getting them out, since I once had braces (cuz teeth coming out can crowd and i have no room). They are not giving me any pain or problems, (just the psycological effect of having to go and get surgery done). Should I get a second opinion or go for getting rid of them?
Answers:
Yes, you should get them out. Do you want to wait for it to be an emergency before you do something? Then'll you be in for a lot more pain and cost. Mine didnt bother me either, and I was out of the country for a year, so I didnt go to the dentist to know it was a problem- then they pushed my lower teeth around during that year, and I ended up having to get braces to move my teeth back to where they would have been had I gotten the wisdom teeth out sooner.
