Brightnow is a dental factory. Not to say that there aren't some good doctors there, but for the most part you have young doctors that were afraid to start their own office or maybe they didn't do so well on their own. The worst part is that it is run by a big company that cares about nothing more than fast and production. Not so much patient care and quality. A tech should never do a filling or any procedure in the mouth they are only supposed to work in a lab. A hygienist can do many things, but nothing that removes tooth structure and nothing permanent other than a sealant (whitening isn't considered permanent). An assistant can take xrays and assist the doctor, and if they have an extra certification they can polish your teeth - only polish, no scraping. If anyone other than a dentist gives you a filling report that office immediately to the dental board.
The only reason to go to a Brightnow office is if you want cheap work, you get what you pay for. And Brightnow is the worst of the big dental companies.

Dr. vs tech really doesn't matter. The procedure is not complicated. Your teeth will be white, but there are now a lot of options for making this happen. If cost is not an issue, BrightNow will do what you want done.
