Question:

I'm not sure if I have an absess tooth or not.?

I woke up this morning and the left side of my mouth was hurting. I looked in and its like the 6th tooth back, the gum is swollen and by the tooth there is like a little dark spot. What is this? If I take antiobiotics will it go away?
