I am 12 and i am getting braces, does it hurt after a while & what colors should!
Question: don't worry, its not that bad.
when you get them in first it doesn't hurt at all!!
but the next day it will so take pain killers b4 you go to bed and when you wake up
also they give you this gum stuff to stop your gums gettting cut. use it cause its really uncomfortable when that happens.
it will * all worth it!! i'm getting mine off in a month and i've had them with 2 and a half years...i think i'll miss them??the time flys while you have them on :)
it will hurt everytime you get them tightened 2 but as long as you take pain killers that night and the morning after and eat soft foods ( soup,icecream etc ) you'll * just fine!!!
as for the colour thats up to you but i didn't get a colour i didn't want to clash with anything!! :)

It hurts like hell, sorry. I would suggest taking a pain reliever even before they begin to hurt. After the third day the pain should be much less though. Also, color don't matter, I have stuck with my school colors, just because it's simple. Some people just do their favorite colors, or colors for what holiday is coming up, it's up to you.

Check out these braces if your parents can afford them. They are supposed to be less painful than traditional braces.
it hurst eveytime they tighten them and they make the inside of your mouth get rubbed raw and it can get very sore, make sure to have the brace wax with you all the time. The dentist will give you a thing to bite on, do that no matter how sore you get and you will get over the soreness sooner. Colors well I am old so it didn't matter to me but maybe your school colors.
dental work always hurts, yes it does hurt but you get used to it. its worth it if u want ur teeth to be straight. i suggest red and blue
It won't hurt that bad no, it will just feel uncomfortable, and you might have a slight ache due to your teeth moving. If you feel pain though, you can just take a pain killer or something, but it won't be bad. It'll all be worth it in the end when you have fab teeth!! Colours- whatever colour i got, i went home, had something to eat like noodles and then they would change colour. Choose your favourite colour, they have loads, get a mix of colours, or you could get something simple like grey ( which won't change colour! (Y) ) Being a girl i went straight for the pink!
