Braces on adults...turn on or turn off?!
Question: neither. having bad teeth is a turn off but if you are willing to undergo pain (it can be painful and uncomfortable) to improve yourself then that is a turn on. ultimately it is not what you look like but how you carry yourself is what matters.

My opinion: bad teeth are always a turn off. Braces are not a turn on but are only temporary. So if it were me and I had bad teeth....braces would be a small, temporary price to pay.
Braces are temporary. It is not necessary to exclude people during this re-alignment period. Braces wearers feel vulnerable and self-conscious as it is already.
Even Tom Cruise had some braces on in recent years.
There is more to people than what they wear or look like.
I wore braces and during those years I kept my mouth closed and brushed my teeth 5 times per day.
Today, I occasionally receive compliments for straight and extra white teeth ( no chemicals used).
Good teeth is important to prevent prevent malnourishment caused by preventing eating of certain foods like carrots; good teeth support the structure of the mouth and cheek area and sometimes related jaw pain and headaches are cured.
